Project Overview: Fire Safety Upgrades for Transforming PLC's Supported Living Units

BCK Fire Sprinklers was recently commissioned by Transforming PLC to undertake a Smartscan Hydra Installation across 7 of the Hampton Woods Supported Living Units. This project was initiated following a comprehensive fire risk assessment which identified the need for a fire suppression system within these residential settings.

Scope of Work:

The project involved the supply and installation of Plumis® Smartscan Hydra fire suppression system. Specifically, two Smartcan Hydra heads were installed in each of the seven Supported Living Units. The head placement ensures comprehensive coverage within the key areas of the kitchen and lounge, which are typically identified as high-risk zones for fire ignition. The Smartcan Hydra system, known for its advanced and reliable fire protection, provides an essential layer of safety for the residents.

Project Completion:

We are pleased to confirm that this project was successfully completed by BCK Fire Sprinklers at the beginning of September 2025. Our team ensured minimal disruption, while upholding the highest standards of installation and safety compliance. This upgrade significantly enhances the fire safety infrastructure of Transforming PLC's properties, providing greater peace of mind for both the residents and the property management.
